What’s it about
Hamm, blind and chair bound is attended to by the stiff and purposeful Clov. There is a rogue rat in the kitchen and someone has fleas. Hams parents, Nagg & Nell are legless and confined to dustbins. Whilst things outside are ‘taking its course’.
It’s said that everyone has visited ‘Hell’ sometime in their lives. Endgame is a nightmare vision of Hell in which its protagonists ‘twitch’ as they play-out their game.
Characters
Clov (male) – age 20-30 he cannot sit
Ham (male) – age 40-60 chair bound, blind
Nagg (male) – age 60+ confined to a dustbin
Nell (female) – age 60+ confined to a dustbin
All ages are approximate and certainly Nagg and Nell could be played by younger actors ‘aged up’
I am also looking for a Production Manager, Stage Manager, Lighting and Sound People.
I have ideas for set design and costume but would appreciate help with building and sewing.
Audition Dates
Saturday January 16 Time: between 11am and 3pm
Saturday January 23 – further auditions/recalls Time: between 11am & 3pm
Audition pieces can be found in the South Hall
Auditions will include some improvisation
