 HotBed
is a connection point for anyone interested in creating new work
for live performance. It is a place to hone skills, think, discuss,
experiment, get feedback, make contacts and develop scripts.

Meetings are varied and can include readings of scripts, guest
speakers, debates, practical workshops and theatre outings. Hotbed
also generates new work for production at NVT: HotShorts (new short
pieces), full-length performed readings, and full length plays.

HotBed welcomes writers, directors, actors, designers,
composers and choreographers alike. Feedback can be vital to a play's
development - HotBed aims to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere
where new ideas can be explored. All work should be intended for
live performance.
HotBed meets at the NVT on alternate Mondays from 7.30 p.m. Entry
is £2.00 per session. Just drop in when you feel like it.
