June Acting Class with Chance Dini
1, 8, 22 & 29 June

These sessions focus on practical, usable skills, helping actors build confidence, make clear choices and approach text with intention.
Chance creates a supportive space where people can take creative risks, play and feel relaxed, whether they are new to acting or returning to it.
Chance is an actor, director, producer and workshop leader based in Brighton. She has a degree in Creative Producing from London South Bank University and attended the Academy of Creative Training, giving her a strong understanding of both onstage and backstage work.
She runs Witwerks Theatre, where she has directed and produced several sell out shows and also runs The Brighton Slamologue, a monthly monologue competition and scratch night at Sweet @ The Yellow Book.
Alongside this, she works as an actor in immersive and interactive theatre, and works as a technician at Theatre Royal Brighton.

Join AK for a 4-Week Acting Intensive
Take a scene from first read through to a fully realised performance.
6, 13, 20 & 27 July
Over four weeks, actors will work on a two-hander scene from page to stage, exploring the techniques and processes professional actors use to bring text to life. Through script analysis, rehearsal, and performance, participants will develop the tools needed to create truthful, connected and compelling work.
Together we will:
• Break down and analyse a script in depth • Explore character, relationships, objectives and beats • Learn practical techniques for line learning and text ownership • Get the scene up on its feet • Develop listening, connection and truthful performance with a scene partner • Build confidence in acting for stage
This course is designed for everyone, from those completely new to acting to experienced performers looking to deepen their craft. Through focused scene study and practical rehearsal, participants will leave with a stronger understanding of their own process, a greater awareness of their performance presence and enhanced confidence in their acting abilities.
