Anita Sullivan (aka Anita Hickmore) has penned a number of plays that have been produced at the NVT, including Just Whores and Monumental, and was the driving force in founding the NVT's HotBed writers' group and the HotShorts showcases.

Robert Cohen has also had several of his own plays — short and full-length — performed at the NVT, including Still, Let Me Sleep and The Death Of Nelson.
