"Where else could we have this much fun?"
Silver Johnny is a teen singing sensation on the brink of fame and fortune, and his friends who work at The Atlantic are desperate for a stake in his success. On the brink of a deal being struck with a West End impresario to take Johnny to America, there's a small hitch – the club's owner is murdered and Johnny abducted.
Mojo is a grimy, amphetamine-fuelled black farce, winner of the Olivier Award for Best Comedy when it appeared at The Royal Court in 1995.

Intimate Encounters
devised & choreographed by Saskia Ulrike Schilling
Part of Brighton Festival Fringe 2008
|
Intimate Encounters is an interactive performance installation exploring the concept of intimacy. Just as diamonds can be designed for the individual, Intimate Encounters is tailor-made. In this experiential encounter the performers are constantly responding to each participant's reactions, resulting in a unique performance being created by this dynamic fusion. This Art Treatment allows each participant to be the most important person in the room. Another new venture at the New Venture!
The performance involves extreme darkness and physical contact with the performers. Staggered entrance throughout the evening. Each performance lasts about 45 minutes.
Tickets for this production are available only from

Three Tall Women
by Edward Albee
directed by Ian Black
|
The 1994 Pulitzer Prize winner is a profound meditation on personal identity and memory, exploring life and experience through the eyes of the three unnamed title characters. An elderly woman, known simply as A, reflects on her life and relationships, accompanied by her carer (B) and is visited by her solicitor C.
Timeless, eloquent and perceptive, Albee's masterful exploration of the arc of a life is shot through with great humour, subtlety and sadness.
"A truly moving work... an undeniably affecting emotional core and a shimmeringly black sense of humour." -- New York Times
