Course leader Craig Coffey is doing his best. But is his best enough?
Picture the worst training course imaginable. The ceiling is leaking, the chairs are a hazard, and the trainees are a mess. Andy can’t stop his elderly father causing havoc in the room. Sammi’s twigged that she’ll have to spend the day with her ex. And the introductions have taken an uncomfortable turn…
When a latecomer opens with "My name’s Annabel, and I’m an alcoholic," it’s obvious to most she’s meant to be elsewhere. But with the hapless Craig failing to nip things in the bud, the group faces an impossible choice. Do they break it to Annabel that she’s just poured her heart out to the wrong people? Or do they pretend to be the right people?
I mean, surely it can’t be that hard to fake an AA meeting. Can it?
